Most Aussies know a ‘Cricket Tragic’ is a term that describes the fanatics of the game. Equally, with Domain’s obsessive in depth knowledge of the world of property, they can safely declare themselves ‘Property Tragics’. So during Domain’s sponsorship of the Test Cricket, they decided to start acting that way by using any opportunity to talk about property, even when it’s not appropriate - they simply can’t help themselves.
This behaviour is well demonstrated in a series of ‘Player Profile’ TV commercials that ran nationally throughout the summer of cricket. What begins as something sports fans have all seen before - quickly veers off in a very real estate direction, taking both the viewer and players who are being described - a bit by surprise.’
