Coates wanted to tell Australia that they were more than just a company that hired out construction equipment - they provide all sorts of solutions for commercial construction projects as well. We created a new brand positioning for them ‘Equipped for anything’ and launched with a film that transforms the iconic portaloo into a ‘Portal-loo’ - a magical device that gives a bloke on his first day a guided tour of everything they do. The campaign also includes radio spots that capture 2-way walkie talkie conversations of those who are on big worksites as they discover that Coates do more than just hire equipment.
